The film explores how the victim’s family hired their own forensic pathologist to examine the body after the death was ruled accidental. “Movie: On These Grounds” This explosive 2021 documentary revisits a racially charged incident at a South Carolina high school in 2015. A white security officer at the school was summoned to the classroom of a teacher who reported that a Black student was creating a disturbance. When the girl refused to leave her desk, the guard threw her to the floor and arrested the student.
