The BlueMountaineers will play
live for a community dance on New
Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, 6-9 p.m. at the
Union County Senior Center, 1504 N.
Albany St. The evening will include a
fi nger food potluck and door prizes.
Admission is $5, or free for ages 12
and younger.
The La Grande Church of the
Nazarene, 109 18th St., will have a
New Year’s Eve party 6-8 p.m. Those
attending are encouraged to bring
food and board games to share.
The downtown music venue hq
continues the tradition of Metal
at Midnight on Dec. 31 with La
Grande’s own NOGERO. Cover
charge is $10 at the door. Doors
open at 8 p.m. and the music starts
at 9 p.m. Hq is at 112 Depot St.
Wilson. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and
the music starts at 7:30 p.m. The
cover charge is $5; this event is for
ages 21 and older.
BAKER CITY
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at AJ’s
Corner Brick, 1840 Main St., with
live music by the Wasteland Kings
Acoustic Trio plus Holly. The music
goes from 7-10 p.m.
Main Event Sports Bar and Eatery,
1929 Main St. is inviting everyone
to “break out your glitz, glitter and
Wranglers” for a Denim and Dia-
monds Party on Dec. 31 starting
at 8 p.m. The evening includes live
music, dancing, and a champagne
toast at midnight.
Frank Carlson will play live at the
VFW, 2005 Valley Ave., on Dec. 31
starting at 8 p.m.
