From France comes this offbeat 2020
fantasy comedy about dimwit friends who
find a giant fly trapped in the trunk of
a car and decide to train it as part of a
bizarre money-making scheme. Quentin
Dupieux (“Wrong Cops”) directs a cast
that includes Grégoire Ludig, David
Marsais and Adèle Exarchopoulos.
This fine 2018 sequel to the 2016 darkly
comic superhero blockbuster returns Ryan
Reynolds as the snarky title character.
The story finds Wade Wilson (Reynolds)
reluctantly agreeing to join the X-Men
after his beloved fiancée Vanessa (Morena
Baccarin) is murdered by an assassin.
While mourning that traumatic loss,
Deadpool and his fellow mutants try to
stop Cable (Josh Brolin), a time-traveling
cybernetic soldier.
