The nonprofi t art center announced it is extending unused credits to make sure patrons have time to use them. Due to cancellations caused by COVID-19, many students have roll- over credits from work- shops that weren’t held. Any credits acquired between January 2018 and December 2020 will not expire until Dec. 31, 2022. Rummage sale at Tamkaliks coming June 4-6 WALLOWA — The annual Tamkaliks rum- mage sale is scheduled to take place in Wallowa Friday, June 4, through Sunday, June 6, at the Nez Perce Wallowa Homeland Farmhouse, 71054 Whiskey Creek Rd., just past the Tam- kaliks powwow grounds on the left. The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Fry bread, bison chili and baked good will be for sale to-go, in addition to rummage items. The sale is a fundraiser for the Tamkaliks Scholar- ships, given annually to a local graduating senior and a native student. The mission is the same — promoting and celebrating pioneer skills and lost arts — but presented in a thoroughly modern format. On each of the fi rst four days of the event, a pio- neer artist will walk viewers through a prerecorded demon- stration.
