This chilling 2019 British horror
film stars Morfydd Clark (“His
Dark Materials”) as a nurse who
is shattered when she fails to save
the life of a patient in her care.
Relocating to an English seaside
town, she becomes a devout
Catholic, takes a job as a caregiver
with a hospice service and becomes
obsessed with saving the soul of a
cancer-stricken dancer.
This sitcom that originally aired on
NBC from 2005 to 2009 stars Jason
Lee (“Almost Famous”) as the title
character, a small-time thief whose
life is transformed when he wins a
bit of money in the lottery and hears
some inspiring words from Carson
Daly. He makes it his mission to
right all the wrongs he’s done. Ethan
Suplee, Nadine Velazquez and Jaime
Pressly also star.
Based on the Anton Chekhov play,
this 2018 comedy-drama is set in the
early 1900s and follows the story of
a love triangle that forms among an
aging diva, her lover and a neighbor
during a visit to the actress’ brother
at his picturesque lakeside estate.
