The Tigers won 25-22, 26-24 and 25-21. La Grande, which remains 3-0 in league play, has no matches this week. Next up is a league contest March 30 at home against the Baker City Bulldogs (2-5 overall). LA GRANDE — Eastern Oregon University football got its 2021 spring season off to a roaring start at home Saturday after- noon, March 20, shutting out the Carroll College Saints. The Mountaineers scored three touchdowns in the second quarter and one in the third to secure the four-touchdown win at home. EOU Athletics reported the Mountaineers put up 354 yards on offense and limited Carroll College (1-1, 1-1 Frontier) to 168 yards. About a hundred fans watched the game from outside the fence at Com- munity Stadium. Frontier Conference, which includes EOU for football, continues to pro- hibit spectators at events.
