The Federal Communica-
tions Commission (FCC) has
increased the prescribed
Federal Universal Service
Charge (FUSC) to 33.4%.
This change will be effective
on your April 1, 2021 bill from
Oregon Telephone Corp. The
FUSC amount is calculated by
multiplying the FCC’s univer-
sal service contribution factor
times your interstate service
charges. The federal univer-

FRIDAY, MARCH 19, 2021
YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder
Born today, you are seen by others in such
dramatically different ways -- and often by
the same person at different times -- that it is
quite difficult for the world to “define” you in
the usual sense or sum up what you’re about
in any certain way. Some see you as easygo-
ing, with a cavalier, even “devil may care”
attitude, while others see you as one who can
be difficult to work with because of your high
expectations and unbending rules. Still, oth-
ers see you as a kind of guru.
SATURDAY, MARCH 20
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) -- Don’t make
the mistake that the other guy is making
today -- be sure you know what all the steps
are before you begin a new job!
ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- Though
you may be reminded more than once, you’ll
have to work hard to remember all the details
that affect you today. Who is on your team?
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- You’ll want
FRIDAY, MARCH 19, 2021
to focus on the things you can recognize
today; limit exposure to things that are
uncertain, fanciful or simply untrue.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- Despite the
fact that you have been restricting yourself to
behavior that follows the rules, today you
may feel unusual fatigue. Get some rest.
CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- You needn’t
seek out an expert to say to you precisely
what your own common sense would tell you.
Listen to yourself -- and act accordingly.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You may want to
go back to the records you have kept of past
conversations just to see if an apparent lack of
understanding could be traced to you.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- Others
know you have a lot to offer, and yet they may
not ask you to step forward and offer it. Trust
your instincts; your timing will be right.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- Use caution
today as you step into a situation that was not
of your making. You can do a great deal of
good -- but the cost to you may be high.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- Where
work is concerned, you can afford to be a lit-
tle more conservative in your approach today.
You don’t want to upset the apple cart!
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) -- Time
is on your side today, despite the fact that you
will feel its constant pressure as you move
forward at the safest possible speed.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- You
may be called upon to make a small decision
that has a great impact on a lot of people --
and you won’t have the luxury of backing
away.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) --
Confidence is on the rise today, not just
because of anything good that has happened,
but also because you’ve been keeping the
negative at bay.
