WHEREAS, the County governing body may sell, exchange or lease lands acquired through foreclo-
sure of delinquent tax liens pursuant to ORS 275.090; and
WHEREAS, the Baker County Board of Commissioners finds that certain properties acquired through
foreclosure of delinquent tax liens are owned by the County and not in use for County purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Baker County Board of Commissioners find that the sale of such properties to be in
the best interest of the County; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the Baker County Board of Commissioners ORDERS the following:

A public meeting of the Budget
Committee of the City of Elgin,
Union County, State of Oregon,
to discuss the budget for the
fiscal year July 1, 2021 to June
30, 2022, will be held at the El-
gin City Hall, 790 South 8th Ave,
Elgin, Oregon.  The meeting
will take place on March 22nd,
2021, at 5:30 p.m.  The purpose
of the meeting is to receive the
budget message and to receive
comment from the public on the
budget.  This is a public meeting
where deliberation of the Budget
Committee will take place.  Any
person may appear at the meet-
ing and discuss the proposed
programs with the Budget Com-
mittee.
A copy of the budget document
may be inspected or obtained on
or after March 8th, 2021 at Elgin
City Hall, 790 South 8th Ave, El-
gin, Oregon, between the hours
of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Additional meetings will be
scheduled as needed with notifi-
cation posted in the same man-
ner as Council meetings. You
can also obtain a copy of this
notice at www.cityofelginor.org.
Section C. The following conditions and terms of sale are required for the property being sold:
1. A condition of this sale is that the purchaser shall be obligated to demolish and remove all of the
improvements on the property which is the subject of this sale. Such demolition and removal shall
be accomplished within 90 days from the date of purchase of such property.
2. Each purchaser will be issued a Quit Claim Deed, recorded at the expense of the purchaser. The
purchaser will receive only such interest in the property as is owned by the County. The County
makes no warranty or guaranty regarding liens or encumbrances. Any title or lien search is the sole
responsibility of the purchaser.
3. Cash or Cashier’s Check payment of property shall be made within 15 business days of the date
of purchase.
Section D. Sale of listed property shall take place on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. on the
steps of the Baker County Courthouse, 1995 Third Street, Baker City, Oregon.

Baker County is soliciting
project proposals for the
Statewide
Transportation
Improvement Fund Grant
(STIF) FY 2021-2023. STIF
formula funds may be used
for any purpose directly relat-
ed to transportation services,
including, but not limited to,
transit operations, capital
equipment, planning, travel
training and other transit-re-
lated purposes.
The STIF Formula Fund is
intended to expand and
improve public transportation
services for current and future
transit users. The legislative
intent of STIF funding is to
prioritize improvement or
expansion of services. Gener-
ally, client-only transportation
services are not eligible,
with a few exceptions.
Baker County will prioritize
projects that address:
