STATEMENT OF CHANGES IN ACTIVITIES and SOURCES OF FINANCING *
The City has continued fire and EMS services but on a limited basis due to insufficient training to maintain the department at the required level for full operations. The City
plans on a small two percent increase in both water and sewer rates in the coming fiscal year. The Rail Fire service charges provided enough revenue to payoff the water
and sewer USDA and DEQ debt during the 2016-2017.

YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder
Born today, you aren’t in it for gain, you
aren’t in it for recognition, you aren’t in it for
money and you’re certainly not in it to change
the world -- for you were born with a clear
sense that there would be little you could do
in that regard! You understand and appreci-
ate the traditional, you look forward to a
bright future and you tolerate the present so
long as it allows you to live as you choose.
MONDAY, JUNE 22
CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- The more
efficient you are today, the more time you’ll
have to tend to a certain issue that you don’t
wish to share just yet.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You may have
trouble keeping track of all that you have to
do today until you make a point of readying
yourself and adjusting your expectations.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- You’ve been
where someone else you know now is, and
you can offer some guidance -- but you must
stop short of stepping in and taking over.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- Events of the
day seem to swirl around you, and you can
offer a valuable perspective to those who ask
what it all means to you.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- Even the
little things will get you worked up today --
but you must take care that you’re not seeing
things through a skewed lens.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) -- The
difference between a personal problem and a
universal one is made clear to you today. You
can answer someone’s urgent questions.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- You’ll
have more flexibility than expected today --
but you mustn’t get carried away. Heed your
private rules at this time.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) -- You may
want to do something you’re not allowed to
do, but there’s a good reason someone has
placed this restriction on you.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) -- An idea
swirling in your head may not be clearly real-
ized just yet, but you can begin to put in place
the pieces of a clever realization.
ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- You sus-
pect that someone is working against you in a
clandestine fashion -- but before the day is
done, you can call out this seeming enemy.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- You must
come up with a quick and clever argument in
answer to someone’s charges today. There is
some truth in the accusation, isn’t there?
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- That which
pops into your head today is worth some
whimsical examination. Not everything has
to be serious and overwrought, you know.
MONDAY, JUNE 22, 2020
YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder
Born today, you are a strong and confident
individual possessed of many talents and
diverse interests, but it is likely you will follow
only one path to material success while
exploring your other skills and interests on a
purely vocational level. This doesn’t mean
you won’t take them seriously, however, and it
is quite likely that you will derive more true
contentment from such “hobbies” than from
your professional career -- as successful as
you are likely to be in it.
TUESDAY, JUNE 23
CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- You’ll feel a
pull in an unusual direction today. Instinct
tells you to see where it leads, but your intel-
lect recommends resisting.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You may have
what others call “too much fun” today, but
you’re doing good work and putting more
effort into it than one might expect.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- A distrac-
tion isn’t easily avoided today; you’ll want to
do all you can to immerse yourself in some-
thing that keeps you at a safe distance.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- Give some-
one a chance today; you’ll benefit in ways you
have yet to imagine. When things start in
earnest, you’ll be ready to roll.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- You can
have everyone around you in stitches today
-- more than once! Take care, however, that
you don’t cross the line at any point.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) --
Contact with a friend or loved one may be
difficult to maintain throughout the day, but
persistence allows you to get your message
across.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- You’ll
be thankful for something that you realize
was a complete accident today. Someone tries
to take credit for something you did.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) -- You’re
not going to be able to avoid it: Today you
must be willing to put yourself in someone’s
hands. Your reputation depends upon it!
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) -- Don’t make
a big thing out of something that is hardly
more than routine. Remain calm, think ahead
and tackle obstacles one by one.
ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- You’re in
no mood for falsehoods and fabrications
today; you want the truth and nothing but the
truth. But are you ready to deal with it?
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- Someone
asks a favor of you that seems to be simple
and straightforward -- but take care! You may
be asked to do something against the grain.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- The style of
a thing matters just as much as its substance,
and today you’ll be grateful for related lessons
someone taught you long ago.
