“Archer”
The 10th and most recent season of
this adult animated action series opens
with Sterling Archer in a coma and
imagining himself as the captain of a
space salvage freighter, co-captaining
with his ex-wife Lana. Other regular
characters play different roles in the
season-long space storyline. H. Jon
Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Judy Greer and
Chris Parnell are among returning
voice cast.
“Movie: Brown Girl Begins”
Sharon Lewis (“Restaurant Makeover”)
directed this 2017 Canadian fantasy
movie about a young woman (Mouna
Traoré, “Murdoch Mysteries”) who
must revive Caribbean spirits and
survive a possession ritual to save her
people who are confined to an island
off of Toronto. Nigel Shawn Williams,
Shakura S’Aida and Emmanuel
Kabongo also star.
“The Real Housewives of
Potomac”
The fourth season of this unscripted
series set in suburban Washington,
D.C., brings back Season 3 regulars
Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn
Dixon, Karen Huger, Monique
Samuels and Candiace Dillard to the
cast, with Season 1 housewife Katie
Rost returning in a recurring role.
