pany. The fire was soon under
control, however.

turned recently from a vacation
in Utah, visiting their son and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Zaugg.
Provo, and other relatives.
Miss Junel West left last week
for Seattle, where she will make
her home with her cousin, Mrs.
Gorham.
Wayne Ferguson has returned
from Reno and other points in Ne
vada where he hts been for a
vacation.
Back From Hospital
Markne Turner is home from
the hospital and hack to work at
htr duties as secretary at the
high school.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Powell took
their daughter, Mrs. Donald Lam
bert End baby, home to Boise,
Ida., last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kohler and
family, Lebanon, are here visiting
hr parents. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold
Kohler, and also elk hunting.

took her sister, Mrs. Harvey L.
Barber, to Portland where she
left by plane for Germany to join
Barber.

as their guests last week, his

have now left for Hawaii where

Ravmond Mallcry.
Mrs. Anna Brink, Mrs. Art Bron
son and Mrs. Grace Parker, of La
Grande, went to Payette, Ida., re
cently. Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Corbaley,
Yakima, visited here bst week
with her daughter and family, Mr.
and Mrs. Dave Straight. They left
for home last Monday.

and granddaughter, Marilyn Green,
returned recently by plane from
Booncville, Calif., where they have
been visiting their son and fam
