McKay, ex-secretary of interior and former governor of Oregon whose friends said his chief con cern had always been for his fel low men, had specified that his eyes should go to the Good Sam marltan Hospital eye bank in Portland. . Arrangements for use of his eyes were made, and after his death here Wednesday, the eyes were removed and rushed to Port land. As soon as they arrived, the corneas were removed and transplanted in two persons, each of whom had one bad eye. As a result of the transplants, full vi sion was restored to each of them. Mrs. Mabel McKay, said she thought it would be a "wonder ful thing" for her husband to do nate his eyes.
