They ride for pleasure and simply be cause they "like horses." Elgin Pageant Presentation Will Be Held Friday Evenina ELGIN (Special) Elfiin s Stam peders have been practicing fever ishly for the Outdoor Pageant to be held in conjunction with the Elgin Stampede. The pageant which is scheduled for , Friday evening at the Stam pede grounds will be free of charge. This will be the first year that a pageant such as this has been presented at the Stampede. Al though the theme of event is not being announced, it is known that it will feature five covered wagons and Harlcy Tucker's ox team. About 60 local people are taking part in fhc proijram. Francis Miller has been Riven the job of Wagon Master for the evening affair. The undisclosed plot will include a romantic scene and Donna Fol lett will play the part of the girl. Others taking part in the pageant include Rich Cason, Larry Follett, Bruce Reed, Mary Miller, Fannie Halsey, Mr. and Mrs. Red Martin, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Moore, and Dale Clark.
