Detectives said Reeves was found dead in his Benedict Can- lyon home, a Luger pistol by his side. Reeves, 45, had appeared in numerous film and TV produc tions. His motion picture credits included many Hopulong Cassidy films, "From Here To Eternity," "Gone With the Wind," "Winged Victory," "So Proudly We Hail" and "Till We Meet Again." They are to visit Ann's broth er-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Clint Dodge. Ann will remain tn visit with her sister for most f the summer, and. her parents will go4 after her laer on. Mr. and Mrs. Robor Williams and family of Winston, were Sun day; dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs: Leonard Henderson. The Williams' family are for mer residents of North Powder. Williams was a coach and teach er at the North Powder high school. ' While here, Williams and his family visited with many friends in and around North Powder. Sunday school classes have been discontinued for the sum mer months as therc aren't enough pupils in North Power jn the summer to attend. The Sun day school will start again jn September. o Mrs. Arch Saling visited Mrs. Perry Nantz at Hot Lake Friday. Mrs. Nantz is reported to be feeling fair. o Ruby Sloan left the last of the week for Arofino, Idaho, on the Clear Water river, to spend the summer with her husband, Coen Sloan. He works with the Gov ernment Surveyor Company. ( o Funeral services were hiM Monday, June 8 at the North PnwnW Cnmmunitv phut-ph tn Randolf Wesley (Dolfy) Parker. He was buried in the North Pow der cemetery. Mr. Parker died at the age of 91. o Bud Morgan was taken to the St. Joseph hospital at La Grande, after he suffered two broken jaws, and a back injury.
