hold a pot'uck luncheon at 1 p.m
on Thursday and will then recess
for the summer. The theme for the
afternoon will be "Service in
Love." Mrs. Earl Bensel.will lead
devotions and colored film' Profile
of the Middle East," will be sho
wn. The executive committee will
be in charge.
Rev. Louis M. Samson and fam
ily will return to La Grande on
June 6, and Rev. Samson will be
in the pulpit next Sunday morning.
Following the service on that Sun
day, Circle 4 working through the
Women's Association will sponsor
a coffee hour to honor new mem
bers who united with the church
this spring and to express apprec
iation to the choir for its service
and inspiration during the year
Mrs. Douglas Eustace is circle
chairman.
Vacation Church school for
youngsters who are four years old
through those a-e currently in the
third grade, will be held from
June 8 to June 14 from 9 to 11 a.
m. There will be camps later in
the summer for those in the junior
and senior, high school.
The Session will not meet on
Monday evening, but the Scouts
and choir will meet at their regu
lar times during the week.
Two graduating seniors from
Powder Vallely High school have
received scholarships to the col
leges they plan to attend next
fall.
