Keeping the 25,000 residents of Union and Wallowa counties supplied with La Grande is fortunate in having a group of furniture and houseware stores
Keeping the 25,000 residents of Union and Wallowa counties supplied with
fine furniture and housewares for their homes is quite a man-sized task for
La Grange's furniture and houseware stores and departments, fdr by far the
hulk of purchases in these categories is made by residents of the two-county
area through La Grande retailers. That the area has shopped for years for
its furnitures and housewares in La Grande, and continues to do so at an ex
tremely high volume rate, is proof that La Grande stores offer merchandise
wanted by homemakers, at fair value!
La Grande is fortunate in having a group of furniture and houseware stores
above average in size and offering the widest selection of merchandise . . .
merchandise all too often limited , to metropolitan centers. Retailers for the
La Grande establishments maintain close relationships with the big markets,
at least twice each year journey to San Francisco, Seattle and other centers
for a first-hand look at wares being offered. Through cooperative and spec
ial purchasing some stores are abie to offer values substantially below those
of the most competitive big city stores. La Grande houseware and furniture
stores pride themselves on the goods and seviees they offer and invite resi
dents of the area to continue to buy better in La Grande.
Whatever your home needs in furniture and wares . . . you can Jbuy better in La Grande!
