GADGET TO END ALL GADGETS John HoH, chief engineer
at a Mansfield, Ohio, stove plsnf apparently got a little fed up
with all the "blue iky" stories of the luper-duptr wonder-gadgets
promised for the bright new postwar world and cookt'd up one
to top iham all. Result: his "Jiffy Doodler.' 'pictured 'above. Just
toss in a live chicken, aa at left, says Hoif, and the bird will be
plucked, cleaned and emerge cooked to a turn, with successive
operations announced by a cow bell, auto horn, siren and whistle.
Stick around, ma'am Hoff says they MAY atari production in
about SO years.
