obvious from the way this scene

Archer la intensely relieved.
MRS. ARCHER: Well, of course,

have been worse.
Mrs. Archer sits down In a chair
in a sentimental reverie. Archer
paces up and down gloomily.

MRS. ARCHER: (gently) But,

INT. CORLISS' BEDROOM
Corliss is at the window again.
We are SHOOTING DOWN over
her shoulder towards the Frank
lin house from which the Frank
lins are Just emerging. Franklin
holds Dexter firmly by the scruff
of the neck, and Mrs. Franklin la
fluttering around excitedly.
DEXTER: (protesting) But, gea
whiz, Dad
MR. FRANKLIN: (howling)
Shut up. One more peep out of
you and I'll knock your block;
off. so helD me!
He kicks open the communicating,
gate, and they are all obviously
heading for the Archer back:
porch. Corliss hastily ducks irom
the window and flies across the
room towards the stairs.
