Wallowa lake now holds more wator
than usual for this time of spring
which Insures enough lor the first
half of the Irrigation season. But the
run-off through May and June will
be below normal unless heavy rains
fall In the mountains. This shows
the necessity of conserving water all
through the senson, and If this Is
done there will be no serious short
age.
