TWILIGHT
In the glooming of the evening
Just before the lights nrr lit.
Theie's a momont for reflection
As one alts and rests a bit.
It l then tho fading sunlight
HiIiikk the uicmuricM of the day
As the flickering evening shadows
l;uue about In hllent play.
Tia the hour that one remembers
Sweeter days have piiKsed away,
Dreams of youth when dreams were easy
Instead of Bomber, dull ond gry.
Yet in the silent grow twilight
Comes the pence that rests the soul,
Shutting out the fearful tumult
Of the mms of life that roil.
