"The Democrats are going to make a

A very successful ttactor demon
stration won held yesterday afternoon
at the five-acre lot adjoining the city
septic farm. A John Peere general
purpose farm tractor was uied equip
ped with Goodyear pneumatic farm
tractor tlrea using the new Bliell 27
plus dknel for fuel.
At the start of the demonstration
the fuel was measured by City Man
ager Angus McAlltoter. Tile fuel was
analn checked at the end of the run
and the results allowed) that tne iuei
consumption was less than two gal
lons per acre. This proved the econ
omy of this type of equipment as the
fuel cost was only 13c per acre.
Many of the farmers who attended
the demonstration were Impressed
with the small amount of fuel used.
They all agreed, that the performance
was remarkable becautie of the fact
that many turns had to bo made on
tho small lot which, according to
them, la tho cause of much fuel
waste.
The demonstration was sponsored
by Claude Wright Implement Co.
Fatland Sims Co. and Shell Oil Co.

Make Plans Here For
Holy Week Observance
(Continued rrom Pag One)
A special service for members, can
didates for membership In the
church, and all others who would at
tend, has been outlined, for Wednes
day evening, 7 :30 o'clock, dealing
with the significance of church mem
bership, who may become a church
member, how to become a member,
the significance of baptism and the
Lord's Supper, concluding with du
ties of church members.
Thursday evening will offer a ser
vice at 7:30 o'clock commemorating
the institution of the Lord's Supper,
at which all who attend will be In
vited to enter upon the holy fellow
ship.
A three hour service Is arranged for
Good Friday, beginning at 12:00
o'clock noon, and continuing until
3:00 o'clock in the afternoon. At this
service alt will be welcome at any
time. It will be appreciated, Mr.
Walz said. If many will arrange to be
present throughout the entire threa
hours, however, "if you cannot re
main through, feel at liberty to come
and go afe any time," he concluded.
Toasted Tea. There's a special reason why
Schilling Tea has more flavor. It's toasted just be
fore it's packed! Toasting keeps it fresh. Toasting
drives off moisture, present in every tea leaf on arrival
at seaport. And moisture impairs tea flavor. Schilling
Tea comes to your cup crisp, fresh and full-flavored.
