ent at the party given Friday evening
by the Methodist Sunday school of
Imbler, at Ruckman's hall. Those
who arranged the affair planned. In
teresting things for the entire eve
ning, games to begin with, a nice
program and refreshments. The Im
bler Sunday school Is In a very thriv
ing condition and la growing. Charles
Cleaver is the superintendent, but

The Elgin Women's Improvement
club Is sponsoring a sliver tea as a
benefit for the Elgin Library, on
Wednesday, March 22. A wedding
dress style ohow will be a feature of
the afternoon. The ladtee are re
quested to wear tliclr wedding dresres
or -to bring them for someone else to
model. It Is expected that all of the
wedding; styles from 1884 to 1934 will
be represented.

Saturday was Initiation day at Blue
Mt. Grange. Mlos Wllma Smith, Miss
Edith Ragaln and Beryl Taylor were
given the first two dogreea of the In
itiatory work during the business ses
sion In the forenoon. At the second
meeting in April the third and fourth I
degrees will be given to these three I
candidates and also to some others
who have previously taken the first
and second degree. Mr. and Mrs. j
Olurenoe Carter were elected alter- !
nate delogutes to the state grange j
which Is to be held at Rune-burg In ;
June. Frank Jasper, master of Blue
Mountain, was chosen to represent I
tlio local order on the fair hoard. j

tlon at some length. j
The St. Patrick idea was carrlid out ;
in the dessert when Section One serv- ;
ed dinner at 12:30 o'clock.
