The lecturer's program consisted of
a recitation by Zetta Waelty, and
Jack Patten, songs, Fl sh -for-Your -Hook
contest and a debate upon the
question, 'Resolved that a broom is
more useful than a pitchfork.' Mro.
Mary Waelty and Mrs. Bern at Hug
represented the affirmative and Mrs.
Mary Brcshonrs and Lois Wither spoon
tho negative. Tho latter won by a
2-1 decision of the Judges, who were
Emil Miller, A. R-. Hill and Raymond
Waelty,
Tho H. E. C. club discussed plans
for a benefit social. Tho club Is
.sponsoring refinishing the kitchen.
The next meeting of the) grange is
to be held Saturday, March 10.

Millard Wright were cutting wood on
tho river below town and some how
the axe glanced and, cut through the
shoe, Inflicting a deep gaoh that re
quired several stitches.
