300.000 last year. Yet, he said. In
1830 27.000 game birds were raised,
and 31,000.000 fish liberated, and In
1033 the count was 27.800 birds raised
and 22.000.000 fish liberated. He said
that twice the enforcement exlBted
last year In face of this 150.000 re
duction In Income.
One or two examples of how sav-
' Ings were effected were given by the
speaker. A few years ago It cost $2.16
to raise a pheasant, he said, yet last
year the average cost was al.OO. Also,
food storage plants for fish feeding
permitted savings of nearly five cents
a pound, aggregating 26.000. with
more plants to be erected. Including
one at Union with a 40-ton capacity.
During his talk he said that both the
game farm at Pendleton and the fish
hatchery at Union would rank with
the best In the state, and both would
erve Eastern Oregon far better than
it has been served In the past.

AT THE LIBERTY

Herbert Marshall and Cbiudette
('filbert Jn a scene from "Four
Frightened I'eople," now at the
Liberty theatre.
Noted for providing tho 'ultimate In
screen entertainment, Cecil B. De
MiHe scores another big hit with his
latest Paramount picture, "Four
Frightened People," which Is now
playing at the Liberty theatre.
Story, acting, settings and direc
tion held the audience spell-bound
with one eye-filling surprise after
another.
From the time the four principals,
two men and two women, escape from
a Dutch steamer on which bubonic
plague has broken out and start their
Journey to civilisation through the
Malay jungles, there la not a moment
tn the picture when Interest wanes.
Their gradual reversion to the primi
tive provides some highly novel situa
tions. Claud otte Colbert Is outstanding
with one of the moat colorful roles
of her career, that of a nrudlsii
school teacher whom the two men
consider tn their way. When the
II Jungle causes her to blossom Into a
wild, beautiful creature, the men
start fighting over her.
j Herbert Marshall and William Gar
1 pan give splendid performances as
the marooned rubber chemist and
newspaper correspondent who fight
over Claude tie's charms, while Mary
Boland, In a deft comedy character
ization, walks away with many of the
honors of the picture. Leo Carilto
displayed splendid ability in the role
of a half caste guide.
There were no Hollywood "sets" for
thete people to walk through, and
the real Jungles in which the picture
was filmed are, themselves, cause (or
Interest and amazement.

YOUR GROCER HAS
THIS SUNNY WAY
TO BETTER HEALTH
Check Common Constipation
with a Delicious Cereal
Food has a lot to do with how
you feel and how you look. For in.
stance, you need plenty of "bulk"
with your meals to avoid the risk
of common constipation.
This ailment frequently causes
headaches, loss of appetite and en
ergy. Yet, in most cases, it can be
overcome pleasantly and safely by
eating a delicious cereal.
KelloRg's Aix-Biun furnishes
"bulk" in convenient and concen
trated form. Laboratory tests show
the "bulk" in Aia-Bhan iB safo anil
effective. In fact, it is much like
that found in leafy vegetables.
Within the body, the fiber of All
Bran absorbs moisture, and forms
a soft mass. Gently, this clears out
the intestinal wastes.
In addition, All-Bran provides
vitamin B and iron.
Isn't this sunny way better than
taking patent medicines so often
harmful? Two tablespoonfuls of
All-Bran daily are usually suffi
cient. Chronic cases with each meal.
If seriously Ml, see your doctor.
All-Bran makes no claim to be a
"cure-all."
Enjoy All-Bran as a cereal, or
cook into appetizing recipes. Be
sure you get Kellogg's All-Bran.
It contains much more needed
"bulk" than part-bran products. In
the red-and-green package. Made
by Keiiogg in Battle Creek.
