WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 (P) The
United States goM stock continued
to grow Jodf.y. after reacnlng a new
high or $7,030,146,124 Wednesday.
This half million increase over the
preceding day's figure also was re
flected in a gain of the government's
profit of dollar devaluation fiom $2,
805,730,439 to $2,805,056,014.
The profit increase indicated that
most of the new gold received was
that coming from hoarded metal, for
which the government stl'.l pays the
old price of 20;67 an ounce.
