of Kellogg, died In a (hospital here

Murphy was a passenger In a ship

Idaho, a mile west of here yesterday, j

HAINES A roller canary hatched
last spring at the aviaries 'of Frank
Lajoy In Halneo tied as champion of
tho Rose City Roller Oanary show in
Portland last Friday In competition
with 106 singers at the show. The
young songster not only tied with
an old bird for this honor but was
given what Is said to have 'been the
highest score 65 ever awarded at

was given two' medals, special prizes;
and one. third prize; at the Oakland;
Cal.;' show the Lajoy birds 'won first
for the best old team, second, and
fourth for the best bird of that show
