' WASHINGTON () The bureau
. of labor statistics has announced that
i retail food prices continued their up-
ward movement during the two weeks
. ended November 21.
: The Index figure was given as 106.8,
!; pompared with the high point reach-
ed on September 6 of 107.4. The
bureau used 1913 as 100 In comput-

Prices November 21 were said to
! have been mor tlian 18 per cent
( .above the low point reached in April
when the Index was 90.4. For No
. vember a year ago the Index was 99.4.

' was caused by a general strengthen

United Kingdom, was the second best
customer, taking 1.820,340 pounds
