surance writer," was cleric of the
school board of 1B17; and h. P. Day

The faculty consisted of fourteen
members: A. G. Hampton was the
teacher of economics and geometry

team. He - later was superintendent
of the ia Grande schools. At present
he is superintendent In Astoria. J.

The girls' glec club has started Its
year's work under tho leadership of
Delorls Stewart, (president; Betty
Bohnenkamp, vice president; Rose
mary Alexander, secretary; and Eliza
beth Milne, librarian.
Mr. Loney plans to have the glee
club sing at several assemblies. It
will take a major part In the oper
etta. "Several public appearances, as
well, are anticipated.
At the present time, the flee club
Is "working on "Bols Epals" (Night
Shadows Pulling) by Lully; 'If My
Song Had Wings," toy , Kahn; and
"Kiss Me Again," from1 Victor Her
bert's light opera, "Mademoiselle 'Mo
il late." ' -
A sextet has been organized from
the glee club, consisting of Wlnnl

In the first quarter T. Zlvkovlch In
tercepted three All Star ipasses and
converted one for a touchdown only

players alleged to have- pushed a All

The Seniors threw away many good
scoring opportunities' for touchdowns.
A pass from Williams to Lowell Finn
was good for 30 yards and a touch
down ibut he dropped the .ball. Two
more passes failed 'with Munro and

Kcsler and J. Inseth. showed up
well for the All Stars. Kcsler Inter
cepted three Senior ipasses but failed
to get far with them. The Seniors

Jack' Hendrlckson Is another lone
