Cornelia Perry, a resident of La
Grande for S3 years, died at her home
at 2813 Maple street Sunday morn
ing after a long Illness.
Funeral aervlcea will be held Tues
day axternon at 2 o'clock at the Snod
graas and Zimmerman mortuary with
burial In the L. D. S. section of the
Masonlo cemetery.
Mrs. Perry was born In Utah June
11. 1851 and was 83 years, four
months and four days of age. She
leaves seven children. Willis D. Perry,
of Portlsnd: Leon Perry, of Parker.
Ida.: Oeorge N. Perry, of Salt Lake
City: Mra. D. A. KiUpack. of Salt Lake
City.- Prank and Rosa Perry, of Im
bler, and Mrs. O. H. Hendrlckson, of
La Orande: also 28 grandchildren and
21 great-grandchildren.

Christian Endeavor Union was held
recently at the Presbyterian church
at Enterprise.
In the absence of the president.
Howard Carpenter, of La Orande. Mrs.

president for Wallowa county pre
sided over the meeting at which there
were 1 8 officers and society prrsl -
dents in attendance.

organization was transacted and the
next meeting was set for Friday.
