chapters ih history. ' James M. Cox, who recently served, as
Vice Chairman of the American delegation to the World

paper Enterprise Association, Mr. Cox revealed that a work
able 'and final settlement of the German reparations ques
tion was actually within sight in 1922. ' if it had been at

only a gap of four billion marks a gap which, as Mr. Cox

Mr. Hunter was born on the home
ranch near Island City on Oct. 20,

Depot Battalion Signal Corps during
the World war antf was a member of
tlte -American Legion. He attended
Oregon State college and was a mem
ber of Sigma Nu fraternity.

advanced a cent in the local market
today, the new prices to be effective
Tuesday morning. The rise applies
ip. all grades except pullets.
The market was reported, firm with
top quality fresh, extras in especially
good demand. Other grades were in
fair to good call, according to the
trade.
The Pacific poultry producers to
day quoted, effective .Tuesday, over
size 26c, extras 24c, standards 21c,
mediums 21c and. pullets 14c.
Owing to the heavy oversupply of
pullet size stuff, the price was cut
two cents on tliis grade.
