SIGN AGREEMENT
WITH GO VERNMENT
WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 VP) The
number of farmers who have signed
applications to Join In the wheat re
duction campaign today stood at well
over 20.000.
Tho farm adjustment administra
tion announced that applications for
wheat contracts had been signed by
growers in all wheat growing states
and made public plans for Intensive
efforts to complete organization.
Members of ,tho administration's
wheat section will conduct meetings
in six wheat growing Btates between
now and Sept. 12.
The dates for tho conferences In
clude: Spokane, Sept. 11 and 12,
at which state extension directors
and others interested will be repre
sented from Washington, Oregon,
Idaho and Montana.
George B. Farrel, association chief
of tho farm administration's wheat
sectibn, said that "no definite date
for closing the sign-up campaign has
