Monday night at a meeting at tho
homo or Mrs, W. H. Parkinson. Mrs.
L. -J. Gates vos chosen secretary and
Miss Atha Damerel!. treasurer. August
Is. the birth month of Moskowski,
Godard and Debussey, three compos
ers of musical composition, and., a.
largo part of . the program was-devoted
to their compositions.
A general discussion was held of;
tho, works of Moskowski and Godard
while Ernest Tuveson, a guest of the
club, presented a thorough and inter
esting talk on DoBussey.
Miss Mildred Stoddard and Mrs. O,
O. Long have appeared on every pro
gram presented before the Recital
club and In recognition of the fact
were presented wth gifts last night.
Janice Moon and Dorothy Jean Lester
who have' attended every meeting and
played at all but one were also pre
sented with a gift.
After the program and business
meeting the mqmtoors spent the re
mainder of the evening playing
games on tho lawn after which, re
freshments were served.
Sept. 25 is the date of tho next
meeting. .
Last night's program was divided
Into two sections, the first of which
was presented by the children. Tho
