to fill the vacancy left by the resig
nation of Miss Florence Williams, who

Jessie: his mother, Mrs. Ella Jackson
of Rainier, Oregon; a sister, Mrs.
Grace Massey, of Summervllle, Ga.,
and a brother1, Grady Jackson of
Rainer, a half brother, Roy Reese, of
Rainer, who Is here for the funerdl.
Mr. Jackson nas been a resident
of La Grande the last five years.
Funeral services will be held at
the chapel of Walkers Funeral Home
Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock .with
Rev. Paxil De F. Mortlmore in charge.
Burial will take place -in the legion
plot in the Masonic cemetery.
