Intercity tournament Played.
On Baker Course Wednesday

Women goirera from the La Oronde
country club were defeated yesterday,
18'i to 14V4, by the women of the
Baker Country club In a tournament
on the Baiter course. Eighteen hole
of golf were ployed In the morning
and were followed at 2:90 o'clock by
luncheon served at the club house.

Pine Cone for a delightful afternoon
of visiting and swimming. Lunch
was' served. Mrs. Ella; Baker, presi
dent of the group, was in charge of

Plans were completed for a party
at which :the members' of' the club
will entertain their famliles' Friday
evening at 7:30 o'clock at Fine Cone.

Meets Wednesday
Pine Cone was the scene of an in
teresting event yesterday afternoon
when Mrs. P. A. Ingram entertained
the Parkdale club. Swimming and
conversation filled the afternoon, and
tunch was served by the hostess as
sisted by members of tlie club.
Quests were Mrs. Carl -Gassett, of
Ollroy, Oal., who Is visiting her
daughters. Miss Sdna Jones and Mrs.
Cecil Anderson: Mrs. Jensen, of Perry;
and Mrs: Minnie Lupher. " ' '
