vices hold In Wallowa Monday tor
Mrs. Mary E. Brady, of Portland, who
pawed away at the home ol her
daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Loyd.
Mrs. Brady was In her 84th year
and was the mother of eight chil
dren, three of whom are dead. There '
are 10 grandchildren and 15 great
grandchildren. She had been a mem
ber of the Christian church since 10
years of age. Interment was In the
family plot In the Wallowa cemetery.
Byron and Tim Brady, brothers of
the deceased, accompanied the re
mains to Wallowa. Other members
of the , family ,hore lor the tuneral
were Mrs. Lizzie Loyd and Mrs. Jean
Jones of Portland and Mr. and Mrs.
Hugh Wiley and son, of Hood River.

the recruits at the Frog Heaven C.
C. C. camp, ,-who, underwent a major
operation, recently,. was able to leavo
the hospital also. .
