ber Co. lias a large planer at Five
Points. Butler & Johnson own and
operate a mill which cute ani average
of 25,000 feet daily . . . none of them
are able td fill orders as fast as they
are coming In.

Grande Men Face
Dynamite -Charge
BAKER (Special) F. E. Whitfcm, of
Pondcsa, and L. A. Chandler, of La
Grande, have been cited by state po
lice officers to appear In justice court
Monday to answer to a charge of
dynamiting fish in West Eagle lakes.
Officers have hot determined whether
the men will be taken Into the Jus-'
tico court in Pondosa or in Baker.
-Officers said the- two men packed
into the? lakes one day this week and
stato police camped on the trail to
the lakes the next day. At 10:30 that
night Whltten and Chandler were
stopped. Officers stated the men had
in their possession 313 fish ranging
In length from six to 10 inches: 1
The fish were brought to Baker
'and placed in cold storage In the
Baker Pocking company market,
where they were examined. A few of
tho fish showed hook marks, but the
others showed no signs of having
been caught with a hook and line

state police says dynamiting will re

and solicited its co-operation In weed

A skit, "A Trip to Chicago" and
music by Ida Andrews, Zelma Slrrlne
and Jean" Wilhelm entertained "the
