8 hard -cooked oggs.
1 tablespoon lemon. Juice.
Few drops onion Juice.
1 mall can Wlilto star tuna.
1 tablespoon .prepared mustard, ,
2 tablespoons mayonnaise.
Cut hard-cooked eggs In half,
lensthwloc, and take out the yolks
keeping the whites carefully in shape.

lemon Juice, mayonnaise. Season 'to
ta-itq with salt and ( pepper j Put mix
ture back In egg whites, set in a but
tered pun and bake for 15 minutes
in a 'slow oven. ( When the points 'Of
the stuffed centers are brown, remove
from tho oven. Serve with tomato
sauce made by heating the contents
of one can (undiluted) of tomato
soup. These eggs are also good served
cold. 1
TUNA MOLD
1 large can White Star tuna.
i cup stuffed olives. .
; 1 tablespoon chopped, parsley,
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
14 cup cold water.
9 hard cooked eggs, sliced.
. 1 tablespoon chopped capers,
3 teaspoons plain gelatin.
' 4 cup mayonnaise.
Separate tuna into flakes with' a
fork. Add sliced hard cooked eggs,
olives, capers, lemon juice and par
sley. Soak gelatin Tn cold water 5
minutes, then dissolve over hot water.
Blend gelatin with mayonnaise
thoroughly. Turn tuna, egg1 and sea
sonings Into the mayonnaise and mix
lightly, but well. Turn mixture into
a dry mold and chill. Turn out on a
bed of lettuce and. fill small lettuce
cups with more mayonnaise. .

red tomatoes, grown in La Grande,
have been produced at Cherry's Flor
ist greenhouses on Adams avenue,
and are mostly being taken locally, it
was announced today by A. B. Cherry.
The present supply amounts to a
total of eight tons and. tho tomatoes
are splendid firm and Juicy and
tasty. Th outdoon crop of toiiifreoes
will not begin to ripen in the Orande
fionde valley for a few weeks. .
