vation of agriculture, and were the
horse population today comparable

1 cup water, scalded or 2 cups bottled
milk, scalded.

8 teaspoons Honey

To' the pumpkin add egg yolks, brown sugar
salt and spices. Mil thoroughly with a hand
or electric beater at high speed. Add scalded
milk and fold In stiffly beaten egg whites
Pour into 10-lnch pie pan lined with plain
pastry. Bake In hot oVen of 450 degree F
for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 32s de
grees F. and bake for 45 minute, or until a
silver knife Inserted In center comes out clean
Make one 10-Inch pie. To serve, cool slight
ly and arrange a small mound of unsweetened
wh,PPed cream In center of each Individual
p ece of pie. Drop 1 teaspoon honey in center
of each mound of cream. Serve at once
