Guests at Home at Medical Springs
Mrs. P. J. Powers entertained 25
members and guests of the Francis
Brown auxiliary of the Sons and
Daughters of Union, County Pioneers
yesterday at Medical Springs. The
principal speaker of the morning was
"Uncle" Dunham Wright, prcald-snt of
the Pioneers and one of the oldest,
who urged more communications be
tween communities.
A potluck lunch was served In the
main dining room at the Medical
Springs hotel, after which a business
meeting was held mid uwlmmlng en
joyed. , ;
Plans for he annual apron sale

24 were made and Mrs. E. E. Hughes,
. Mrs. Ada Clark and Mrs. Reese Mc-

will be held at the home or Mrs. Ella
Rynearson to sew, and each member

Miss Ruth Seward, whose marriage
to John Steele will be an event of the
near future, was complimented at a

assisted by a group of Miss Seward's

home of the parents of the brlde

The Past Guardian Neighbors club

one o'clock luncheon. Seven members,
were present for the luncheon and thr
business meeting which followed, at
which Mrs. Mary Ormand presided. .
At the close of the afternoon the
