Oregon Man Passes
THE DALLES, Aug. 18 UFl J. T.
Rorlck, 79, prominent Eastern Oregon
attorney and educator, died at his
home here Wednesday. He had lived
her0 40 years.
Rorlck was a graduate of the Uni
versity of Michigan law school and for
eight years published a nowspaper In
that state. Ho came to The Dalles In
1802 and established a dairy farm of
purebred cattle. Ho was a member of
the school board and member of the
city works commission. He inter nerv
ed ta director and vice president of
the Oregon atute chnrriber of com
merce. Two sons and two daughters
survive.
