A New Sanitary Pad
More Comfortable Lasts Hours Longer
Safe Without Special Garments
VELDOWN is a revolutionary advance in sanitary
napkins that banishes the discomfort and distrust
associated with ordinary "pads." Softer than silk itself,
and gives perfect protection hours longer.
Veldown has a filler of pure rayon cellulose instead of
ordinary crepe paper layers. This gives the softness of
fluffed silk eliminates all possibility of chafing. It is 3 to -5
times more absorbent. Then Veldown has a moisture,
proofed back, invisible, imperceptible, without weight or
bulk, which ends all chance of embarrassment or need for
protective garments. Costs no more than ordinary pads.

NOTICE TO CRKDITORS
Notice Is hereby given that the un

Over MOO mile per hour for

record made with 7G ganolinp.
ON a desert dry lake bottom S miles long and 2
to 3 miles wide in atmospheric temperatures vary
ing from 90 to 120 degrees, two Auburn cars of the
usual higher compression type now being built by most
automobile manufacturers broke practically all Amcri
can Stock Car Speed records last week.
It Is significant that theae were the firnt records to
be eslablinhed in recent years with a ntrlctly atork
nonpremlum fuel the gasoline was 76, taken
directly from a roadside pump.
What Cooper says
Earl Cooper, one of the most famous racing drivers,
observed the record runs and states:'Therc could be
no tougher test for gasoline than that of the dry lake
run. with the air dry and hot vaporization of gaso
line oc cured almost in the feed lines. A fuel that was
not scientifically refined perfectly would never have
stood up."
How You Benefit
76 gasoline has an advantage over other fuels, of a
crude oil supply particularly adaptable in developing
a higher octane rating. 76 is designed to stop your
engine knocks and give your car new smoothness, no
matter how steep the grade or how hot the outside
temperature.
You'll note, too, that POWER is increased. That's
because It contains the power-producing fractions of
the distillation range that assure maximum energy on
every piston stroke. You' will notice this extra power
particularly on hills and in traffic pick-up.
Five factors: non-premium, anti knock, added power,
increased mileage and the quick starting quality of 76
provide the greatest economy in motor fuel costs.
Money Back Guarantee
New Union 76 is sold on perhaps the most gener
ous money back guarantee ever put behind a gasoline.
Read it:
After you try 10 gallon of New Union 76, If you
do not recognize an Improvement over any non-
premium fuel you have used, just aend us youf
receipt and wc will refund the amount of your
purctiasc In cash.
Switch at Once!
Don't go through the summer with an engine that
knocks. Just switch to 76 and get an ANTI KNOCK:
that doesn't fade in summer heat one that gives you
extra power and mileage too.
It's easy to find 76. Just look ahead. Slow down
when you see the 76 banner. There you'll the find
gasoline that broke almost all of the American Stock
Car Speed Records.
