Held Friday afternoon at the school
he use. A fair-sized crowd, made up
ct parents and friends of the school,

necdlo work articles, was on dis
play and was well arranged. The
nature study work, the penmanship
arid the art displays, especially the
art. were also very attractive. In the
manual training section, bird houses,
. airplanes;k a radio bench, a moving
picture apparatus and mtfny mora
articles were shown, while in the
eiswing division a collection of pet
niters, tea towels, nacdle cases,
aprons, night gowns, pajamas, etc.,
vfero displayed. Another article of
iriuch interest was a knot board mndo
by Delbert Grout, member of .Boy
out troop 15. of La Grande. Al
tncUBht the work was riot done at
school, the board on which S3 differ
ent kinds of knots made of rope
were mounted, attracted a great deal
of attention.
