First telephone peas of the season
were reported in. The stock was of
fairly good quality. General pea
market Is about steady. Telephones
around 6-7c lb.
Price of lemons shows a fairly
sharp advance here as a result of
rises In California.
First of the season's new red on
ions are In from the Stockton district
and show quality with sales around
$2 sack. Old Oregons are scarce and
firmly priced 11.76 with wax holding
rather well around $2 crate.
No change of interest Is shown in
the potato market either for old or
new crop. Most sales of California
new crop are around 2-2 'c lb. This
applies to boih red and white. Old
stock moving fairly well but only
locally.
Lettuce market is active locally
with prices rather firm.
New crop beets and carrot are
showing a good movement.
