session of the state legislature was
held at the executive offices bare yes
terday at which time two errors at
tributed to enrolling committees of
the two houses of the recent legisla
ture were corrected. The little ses
sion was made up of President WU

Prank J, Lonergan, of the house, the
governor, secretary of state. Attorney
General I. H. Van Winkle and desk
Qlcrks of the two houses. .
One of the measures was tho house
bill which reduces the rate of interest
on delinquent taxes from 13 per cent
to 8 per cent. - The measuro was
amended ln the senate to make its
provisions retroactive to taxes due ln
1928 and thereafter. The retroactive
alauso was however omitted from the
enrolled bill which was signed by the
governor. The legislative officials,
noting according to an opinion of the
attorney general and according to
precedent, corrected-tho-bill to In
qludo the retroactlvo clause,
' The other measure was in the sen
ate bill known as the cream grading
bill. By the omission of decimal
points ln the measure the acid con
tent of the sweet cream was increased
from .30 per cent to 30 per cent, and
that of sour cream from .0 per cent to
6 per cent. This error was corrected
go that sweet cream would still re
main sweeter than sour cream.
