Gam In Series
With Seattle
Br the As.ortated Press
Baseball fans anticipated a change
in the Pacific Coast league stand
ing? this week, with a new series
starting todaj. The San Francisco
Seals, third in the list, and four
games behind the leading Hollywood
Stars, have opportunity to pull up a
notch, and perhaps tie for top.
The Seals take on Seattle at San
Francisco this week. Seattle, dur
ing the past two weeks, has won
enly two out of 14 ball games, and
uplfss the Indians show more base
ball, the Seals are almost a cinch
to even things with Loa Angeles,
whom they are following by two
games, and possibly top the Angels.
The Indians are in the cellar.
Angel Play Dncks
Los Angeles plays the Portland
Ducks at Los Angeles. Portland is
next to the bottom, and unless the
depe- is upset, the strong Angels are
expected to take this series.
Hollywood plays the Oaks at Oak-
I land, and the San Francisco Mis
sions taxe on sacramento on tne
Senators' home grounds.
