decline which curried wheat prices to
the lowest point since 1014 was
checked during the week ending June

ing In Minnesota, South Dakota and
Montana, and Is generally well etool

Growth is slow in northern partB of
the belt, and somo deterioration has
occurred from dry weather in local
areas. Showers in Canada prevented
further deterioration lu most sections.
Moisture supplies are sufficient for
current needs in most parts of Mani
toba where the crop lit reported in
good condition. Beneficial rains were
also received in northern and eastern
districts of Saskatchewan and in cen
trul. northern and western parts of
Alberta. In other sections of these
two provinces however, moisture la
badly needed. High winds and lack
of moisture has caused loss of some

to the Manitoba Free Pret:s, and the
height of the crop Is considerably be
low normal for tho time of year. The

trees on your premises (owned or
leased) for the eradication of the
Cherry Fruit Fly.
You are hereby notified that -the
correct time for the application of
second spray is June 28th.
The poison spray or bait Is compos
ed of powdered lead arsenate
pound, molasses or syrup 2 quarto
(never honey) and water 8 gallons.
Apply the spray In fine droplets on
the surface of tho outer leaved at the
rate of 1 pint to the tree. (
A certificate will be issued to ah
persons spraying as directed by this
order. Said certificates will give
authority to sell or ship the fruit.
In the city of La Grande there will
be men equipped with sprayers mak
