C porf; chop, cut 11-3 inch thick.
1-4 cup flour.
1 teaspoon alt.
1-4 teaspoon pepper,
4 tablespoons fat.
2 tablespoon chopped onions,
a tablespoons diced celery,
I cup water.
Boll the chops In the flour.
Sprinkle with the s.ttt and pepper.
Place th fat in a frying pan and
when hot add the chops and brown
them quickly, Kemot the browned
chops to u linking mn. pluco, the
onion In the frit retnulnlug In tho
frying pan. Cook until It ha
browned u little. Add (he celery and
water and boil tor one minute.
Pour over the chop. Cover and
bako for one hour in a moderately
slow oven, Tiini the chops f r. -(lueiitly
