proved almost too much for the
heating plant at the .school and it
Is almost impossible to keep the
building warm enough for comfort.
Thermometers vary several de
grees in' various parts of the town
due to natural differences!, such as
the nearness to river, or on the hill
in the northern part of town and
the lower or central part, but the
government thermometer at the
O.-YV. station registered 31 degrees
at 5 o'clock Tuesday morning.
