l-'llllng Silo
Silo filling has been on the pro-
grain of a group of farmers over;
the valley who find this method of i
storing and preparing feed quit j
profitable to their dairy herds. I
I'Yank MeKonnon was delayed 1
somewhat In getting his corn into
the silo due to the fact that the
two wind storuiH which struck the
valley had a sort of grudge against
his silo. The first storm along
banged It on one side and the sec
ond took Its spite out on the other '
with tho result that several days j
time with expert carpenters were
necessary lo gel it In shape. In the
meantime the corn dried out con
siderably but not enough to destroy
its value as ensilage.
