The Pick of Everything
Do You Like to Pick Out Your Own Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
When You're Shopping?
Most women do. Most women are rather particular
about the quality of the food they buy especially
those who are good cooks. If it is berries, you like
to pick out the choicest boxes if it's green peas, you
prefer to see for yourself that they are fresh, not too
large, and a choice variety if it's peaches you insist
that they be ripe, firm.
Practically all housewives are that way especially
particular in selecting the choice things quick to
pass up the ordinary, less desirable.
And that's the way we buy grocery products for dis
tribution to the people of Union county. All over the
world our buying connections such quality houses as
Libby are selecting the choicest of every crop, in
sisting on the pick of everything that you may have
better foods in your home.
Such knowledge is important to any practical house-wife-
she can depend on the brands distributed by the
La Grande Grocery Company and retailed by Mac
Man Stores and she is quick to specify these safe,
known brands whcn buying foods, just as Mrs. Mc
Lean has for The Observer Cooking School.
